Mission

GSA Purpose...Act as a liaison between the faculty and the graduate students. Play an active role to voice graduate students opinions and concerns. Encourage interaction among TLAC graduate students from different cognate areas. Encourage TLAC graduate students to take a more active role at GSA.

The TLAC Graduate Student Association, or TLAC GSA, is an active cadre of graduate students in various disciplines of education (Culture & Curriculum, Early Childhood Education, English as a Second Language, Mathematics Education, Reading & Language Arts Education, Science Education, and Urban Education), all part of the Department of Teaching, Learning, and Culture at Texas A&M University. We strive to assist our fellow students in the completion of masters and doctoral level studies, helping them to acclimate to Texas A&M University, as well as to find success in their studies. In addition, we provide a number of social and professional development meetings during the academic year for students--for the purpose of networking and advancing TLAC GSA's work at TAMU. Come to one of our meetings and learn more! All TLAC masters and doctoral students are encouraged to join us.
